Trying something new
"A change is as good as a rest" so the saying goes. And don't we all need a rest from so many of the challenges 2020 has thrown our way, so far? Naturally a change can be getting away from it all, but change can also come from building new positive habits.
I don't think we are ever too young or too old to improve our self care by adding healthy habits into our lives. For many this comes naturally - nutrition, exercise and mindfulness being part of everyday life. Although most of us usually have to remind ourselves about one of these from time to time!
If you're reading this blog - there's a good chance you're looking for something that can help you achieve a better balance in life. You would expect me to recommend Tai Chi for the physical and mental wellbeing that all kinds of people get from it. But if Tai Chi isn't for you then I do hope you find your form of Mindful Exercise. I've been doing Tai Chi for over 30 years and know first hand how it can support our minds and bodies.
Sometimes, it's a bit of a gamble to try something for the first time - whatever our age. Which is why we offer free, no strings, consultations - to answer your questions and to see if Tai Chi is a positive change you can introduce into your life.
I'm always happy to share my understanding and experience of Tai Chi - please feel free to book your free 15 minute consultation. You never know what a change can bring!
All the best, Dr Luke Zhang - Chief Instructor
